Group Rehab Classes/ Physiotherapy based Pilates

Pilates helps build flexibility, strength, coordination, and is one of the most effective forms of exercise for managing pain and injury. The basic principles of Pilates are; developing long, flexible muscles, using breathing techniques to help relieve stress and improve oxygen flow to muscles, whilst developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.

Pilates is a gentle, low impact form of exercise that is ideal for individuals recovering from injury, yet the basic foundation exercises can be progressed to allow a challenging advanced option for those who have mastered the basics and desire a more intense workout.

Many health funds allow you to claim for physiotherapy based pilates, please check with your health fund to find out if you can claim.
